What is SteamReport.net?
SteamReport.net is a real-time player reporting system that submits reports directly to Steam through the official Steam Web API using verified bot accounts. Submit structured reports with clear context, and they're automatically forwarded to Steam's moderation system.
What ID formats are supported?
Supported identifiers depend on the game/network. For Steam-based lookups we support SteamID64, legacy SteamID (STEAM_X:Y:Z), SteamID3 ([U:1:X]), custom URLs, and full Steam profile URLs. The system automatically detects the format you paste.
Do I need to provide an API key or credentials?
No. You don’t provide API keys or credentials in the browser. If a lookup is available, it’s performed server-side where supported.
How long until a report is processed?
Reports are submitted to Steam immediately through our API integration. Steam's automated Trust Factor system processes reports in real-time and may take action within minutes to hours. Multiple reports against the same player increase the likelihood of review. Clear, detailed reports are weighted more heavily by Steam's algorithms.
Are reports anonymous?
SteamReport.net is designed to minimize unnecessary data. Reports focus on the target identifier and incident context rather than collecting reporter personal information.
Can I report someone without proof?
You may submit reports based on your experience. However, detailed reports with specific context (game, date, behavior) are significantly more effective and receive higher priority.
